Zertificon Solutions has now equipped their ‘Z1 Secure Mail Gateway’ e-mail encryption solution with an ERP-Connector integrated into the administrative interface. The solution ought to be able to easily connect via web GUI to Active Directory and Lotus Notes as well as to other LDAP directories. Existing users and groups as well as client structures are now automatically synchronised with the solution. According to Zertificon this will make it even more efficient to run solutions – especially in enterprise environments – by using the simple ERP-Connector.
With its encryption technology and digital signatures the Z1 Secure Mail Gateway provides centrally administered security for all e-mail traffic from companies and organisations. The integrated ERP-Connector is an integral part of the new 4.2.0 release.
The Zertificon solution is automatically synchronised with the Active Directory. By using a specific search filter it is possible to synchronise individual clients and groups from standard LDAP or Active Directory Servers with the integrated ERP-Connector. The users are added, deleted and moved analogically to the associated directory. This component ought to provide an extremely flexible administration configuration and can cater for all user defined requirements. It’s included as an ERP-Connector license feature. The established ERP-Connector SDK is available for more complex connections in non-standard-ERP environments.
