The EU operates a new service network for companies: The “Enterprise Europe Network” unites all important contacts in the field of business aid programmes to form an one-stop-service. This is to support in particular small and medium-sized entities (SMEs). The network is made up of more than 500 European organisations.
The “Enterprise Europe Network” helps companies which want to operate internationally, e.g. through exchange programmes and by supporting them to build co-operations in the field of technology. It provides counselling to SMEs with regard to technical issues, promotes innovations, new products and business opportunities in the single market and gives information about how to access EU projects and financing. SMEs receive information and services tailored to their specific needs while benefiting from the network’s state-of-the-art technology and specialized expert organisations responsible for a particular issue.
