The Federal Ministry for Transport will provide 500 million Euros over a period of ten years for the preparation of the market introduction of the hydrogen and fuel cell technology. This initiative is part of a national innovation programme for the hydrogen and fuel cell technology.
The objective is to concentrate several projects for the market introduction preparation in a few locations only. The entire programme is to be co-ordinated by an association which will act as the central contact for the national and international hydrogen and fuel cell industry.
