From today until March 11th you are invited to visit the International Tourism Exhibition in Berlin. About 11.000 exhibitors from 184 countries will present their products and services from the world of tourism at this trade fair. This high number of participation reflects the situation of the booming tourism industry. To the general public the exhibition is open on the 10th and 11th of March only.
The global growth rates in this business are promising and Germany continues to be the “Travel World Champion”. But Germany as a holiday destination seems to be flourishing too. According to a recent survey by the World Economic Forum Germany ranks third closely behind Switzerland and Austria in the list of most attractive destinations worldwide. 2 % more overnight stays and an increase of 10% in foreign guest are indicators for a sustainable upward trend.
