Get to know Germany´s most successful brands

For the fourth time Germany´s most successful brands were awarded the „best brands 2007» prize at the Bayerische Hof in Munich. Special about this award: the winners are not elected by a jury, but on the basis of a representative GfK study which determines the market success of brands and their popularity with consumers. This year´s winners are the Sony Ericsson, Canon and Gucci (Pinault-Printemps-Redout) combines as well as Miele which is a medium-sized company.

On Wednesday evening 400 guests from industry, business and media attended the »best brands 2007« award ceremony taking place in the ballroom of the Bayerischer Hof in Munich. In the fourth edition of this event Canon came first in the »Beste Produktmarke« category, Sony Ericsson won in the »Beste Wachstumsmarke« category and Miele prevailed in the »Beste Unternehmensmarke« category. Gucci was awarded a first prize in this year´s »Beste Luxusmarke bei Entscheidern« special category. In addition to the trophy the winners were also awarded a total prize money of more than one million Euros by SevenOne Media, WirtschaftsWoche and Serviceplan. GERMAN
